Non abbiamo esercitato la TO su McDaniels da 3,5 milioni, notizia che sinceramente mi spiazza.
Spero lo si rifirmi a meno soldi più in là.
Anche se al momento abbiamo già 15 giocatori a roster.

a noi servono una combo guard e un 4. e credo sia inutile star dietro a obiettivi impossibili come Porter o a strapagare gente come KCP che puoi costruirti in casa ad 1/5 dei soldi che chiamerà.
Ho messo Hill perchè come giocatore e come caratteristiche sarebbe perfetto, ma chiamerà un contratto che a 31 anni non gli darei.
Millsap sarebbe fantastico invece nonostante l'età, alzerebbe tantissimo il livello della squadra ma, anche se lo paghi, bisogna vedere quanto sarebbe interessato a venire da noi. poco, immagino!
Teodosic pare firmi coi Jazz.
Alla fine credo che dovremo buttarci su Patty Mills. Livingston è un mio pupillo. Anche Manu se è interessato al ruolo sarebbe una chioccia super...
e se proprio non riusciamo a prendere nessuno, ai Wizards offrirei alla pari Kilpatrick per Satoransky.

Il 4 ci serve per spostare RHJ nella second unit. Green sarebbe un perfetto two way player e lo pagherei pure. Mirotic se non altro sarebbe l'esatto opposto di RHJ e potresti alternarli a seconda delle necessità.
Su Johnson non mi sono fatto una idea, dopo l'isolata esplosione a 30 anni nel contract year.
Ingles è più un 3, dai rumors pare interessi.
Patterson è discreto ma a quel punto tanto vale tenersi Booker.

fenomeno no ma è un '93 che può diventare un bel 3+D. Sul finale di stagione si sono visti miglioramenti al tiro che lasciavano ben sperare.
Nel ruolo di 3 dietro LeVert, lui ed Harris potevano starci avendo caratteristiche diverse.
Poi magari vogliono prendere un 3 più affidabile, anche in ottica di usare molto LeVert da 2. Ma non so proprio chi potrebbe essere...

A me a Phila piaceva, posto che se non migliora il tiro l'è dura metterlo in un attacco moderno.
Ciò detto ho una sensazione su quale possa essere il suo problema:



Non nascondo che mi piacerebbe vederlo a LA: la visione di babbo Ball e mamma KJ fianco a fianco sugli spalti dello Staples, è priceless

Peccato per KJ che a me piaceva e non poco, dava il giusto atletismo e aveva anche dimostrato di non tirare così male.

Faccio un nome che il buon Leather non ha fatto: Danilo Gallinari, che da noi puo' giocare tranquillamente sia da 3 che da 4.

Certo che se uno non riesce neanche a valere una team option da 3 mln nella nba di adesso qualche domanda bisogna farsela. I pochi minuti che l'ho visto sembrava anche un prospetto interessante ma evidentemente sarà come dice Brian se con quell'atletismo non riesce neanche a fare roster.

Io credo semplicemente che sia una semplice questione di prezzo, KJ era una delle tante scommesse a roster, solo che costa il 3 o 4 volte le altre scommesse. Al momento penso che la priorità fosse liberare spazio salariale, poi magari verrà rifirmato al minimo più in là...

intanto quel Waley ha firmato un 2-way-contract con noi, farà la summer league con noi e la d-league, rimanendo sotto il nostro controllo

Ce lo vedo proprio KJ a rifirmare al minimo per chi lo ha appena tagliato.

Comunque grandissima accoglienza tra i fischi per Russell alla prima a Brooklyn leggo: pubblico di NY.

Io sono per l'opinione di Leather: I nets devono avere più spazio possibile per poter ricevere picks in cambio di scarichi.

Ovviamente si, avendo buttato tutte le scelte alte fino al 2019 é unica chance per ricevere talento.
E secondo me puntare su giocatori giovani che magari han avuto qualche problema ma che possono riprendersi é un buon modo.

Sì mantenere la flessibilità salariale è troppo importante per noi, sia per fare da parcheggio per contratti sgraditi, sia per provare a fare qualcosa in free agency.
Tra l'altro sono rimasti tutti un po' sorpresi dal fatto che Marks non abbia acquistato nessuna pick al secondo giro, pur avendo 3,3 milioni cash da usare entro la fine del mese. Ha lasciato però intendere che c'è l'intenzione di usarli. Potrebbero magari servire per dare Hamilton a qualcuno e coprirne quindi il salario.
Al momento ci servono giocatori di talento, giovani da sviluppare, qualche veterano ed eventualmente contratti sgraditi. Un mestierante come Hamilton non serve a nulla e non ha futuro qui, serve quindi liberare un posto a roster e lui stesso potrebbe avere più senso appunto come mestierante altrove.
Un discorso simile per me va fatto per Kilpatrick, il giocatore è questo e margini di miglioramento non se ne vedono, potrebbe fare comodo a qualcuno che cerca instant offense dalla panca, magari ti cedono un secondo giro dell'anno prossimo, mentre per noi ha più senso far giocare Dinwiddie, Goodwin e Whitehead.
Entro la fine del mese tra l'altro dovremo decidere sia su Kilpatrick che su Harris. Più avanti su Dinwiddie e Goodwin, che resteranno al 99,9% e su Acy.
Se McDaniels nel frattempo becca soldi veri altrove beh, buon per lui, altrimenti sarebbe stupido a rifiutare anche solo il minimo da noi più in là, credo che attualmente per gente come lui non ci sia un posto migliore di Brooklyn dove cercare di crescere e diventare un giocatore vero.
Gli ultimi rumors ci danno forti su JJ Redick, i nomi che mi intrigano sono altri e bisogna pure vedere quanto chiede, sarebbe sicuramente poco economico come professore, ma in un team che cerca miglioramenti nel tiro da 3 per tutto il roster, chi meglio di lui?
Come detto io guarderei altrove, ma mi fido ciecamente dell'operato di coach e GM!

“It’s open competition here. I know one thing; he’s going to feel Timmy when he comes in our gym. I don’t look at the age when it comes to the starting line-up,” Atkinson said. “I don’t think it’s in Sean’s mentality, it’s not in my mentality. You have to earn it.”
