Sofferta vittoria in finale contro Loyola e Gonzaga si aggiudica l'ottavo torneo consecutivo della WCC. Ultima partita per Morrison, Batista e Knight davanti ai loro tifosi.

Morrison è stato eletto giocatore dell'anno nella WCC e insieme a Batsita è entrato nel primo quintetto. Coach Few è stato eletto coach dell'anno nella WCC. Ieri su ESPN c'era un articolo di andy katz che assegnerebbe il premio di giocatore dell'anno a Morrison e Redick. Molti redattori di espn dovrebbero lo danno invece a Redick (secondo me finirà lì). si chiude 29-4 la stagione degli Zags. Perdiamo contro ucla dopo 20 partite vinte di fila, mantenendo per il secondo anno consecutivo l'imbattibilità in casa, con un giocatore nel primo quintetto NBA e candidato all'MVP.
