Potevamo lanciare una moneta. Potevamo tirare un dado. Potevamo fare pari e dispari. Ma sarebbe stato da pezzenti. Abbiamo anche pensato di fare un programma in Matlab che estrae a caso 1 o 2, ma dei bug nel codice sorgente ci hanno ostacolato.
Abbiamo deciso cosi di mandare un messaggio via whatsapp. (per chi volesse abbiamo gli screenshot ma non voglio uploadarli.. )

Tutto questo per dire che salutiamo Ontario e Biron, New England e sampras, e diamo il benvenuto ai:

PS: As stated by the rules no compensations pick will be allowed to the new teams (Acadie and Boulder):

No compensation if the new GM is brought in by the abandoning GM (even if under the necessary approval by the League Commission).

If instead the new GM chosen by the LC is supposed to have no legacy wth the previous ownership, some compensations may be assessed by the LC in the following Entry draft:

- Teams that finished 13th->16th the last regular season LAS VEGAS
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 1st round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation. If, in addition to missing this 3rd, the team doesn't have a 3rd rounder nor a pick in the entire draft of the following year, a pick at the end of that draft will be awarded.

- Teams that finished 7th->12th the last regular season
Missing picks in the following draft
1st rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 2nd round
2nd rounder: compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round
3rd rounder: no compensation

- Teams that finished 1st-> 6th the last regular season

Stanleit.com is under re-construction, it should be ready for the free agency (before 09/09) and will be completed during the season. We hope you'll enjoy it!
However, the free agency is coming, so let's start!

Deadline for setting the protected players (up to 16 multiyear non-entry draft running contracts) and the restricted free agents.

September 7th (Saturday- h: 10.00 CET)
Start of the september Free Agency session.
Time spans for different durations of leading offers:
7th september – 10th september -> 72 hrs
11th september – 20th september -> 48 hrs
20th september – 25th september -> 24 hrs
Note: for RFAs every offer lasts only 24 hours right from the start

September 11th (wednesday- h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to launch auction bids for the available RFAs and EFAs.

September 14th (Saturday - h: 24.00 CET)
End of the RFA/EFA market.

September 15th (Sunday -h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to submit undisclosed final offers for RFAs/EFAs whose biddings are still pending after the september 14th deadline.

September 25th (Wednesday - h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to launch auction bids for the available UFAs.

September 26th ( Thursday - h: 24.00 CET)
End of all the open biddings for the 2018 September FA session.

September 27th (Friday - h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to submit undisclosed final offers for UFAs whose biddings are still pending after the September 26th deadline AND re-opening of trades.

September 30th (Monday - h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to make requests to set players as retired/signed overseas and be able to get them off the cap.

October 2nd (Wednesday - h: 24.00 CET)
Deadline to complete off-season buyouts and opening of the in-season free agency. Please note that right after this deadline roster moves will start counting against the limit and eligible players will be again exposed to waivers.

Due to Covid-19 impact on our season, the Commission has decided, exceptionally and for this offseason only, the league will run its own lottery which won't be linked by the NHL one, but will rely on the underlying NHL lottery probabilities, duly adjusted to allow the participation of all the 16 teams. We will keep you posted.

Tenendo conto della riduzione del numero di partite in stagione si è deciso che:
- l'aggiornamento dei ruoli sulla base del FOR avverrà dopo che ciascun giocatore avrà giocato la 15esima partita e, successivamente, ogni domenica;
- il numero totale di moves rimane 60

On account of the shortened season, the commission established that:
- role update based on the FOR ratio will be performed after each player played the 15th game of the season and, after this, every sunday;
- total number of moves remains 60.
