Nel frattempo anche Rudy Fernandez odia D'Antoni: "Pau has proved he's one of the best big men in the world and if you pass the ball to him in the paint, he's going to do something good for sure, but D'Antoni doesn't understand it and he forces him to go outside and shoot from distance. Pau is a good shooter but not that good.

Io sono come il professore che abbagliato dalle capacità di un alunno da buoni voti (ma che potrebbe fare di più) insiste a dire ai genitori che il loro ragazzo è testardo ma bravo, e potrebbe eccellere invece di fare solo bella figura.

Sources say the one issue that could give make Howard hesitant about committing to the Lakers would be D'Antoni.

While D'Antoni was head coach of the New York Knicks, he told the front office that he preferred Tyson Chandler to Howard, according to a source.

The Lakers are confident the power of their brand, market and ability to pay him the most money will convince him to stay.

Jim Buss decided for the Los Angeles Lakers to hire Mike D'Antoni instead of Phil Jackson largely out of a concern that the triangle offense would have pushed Steve Nash out, according to sources.

Buss thought hiring D'Antoni would trigger the Lakers' offense by reuniting him with Nash.

"The way this turns out," one league source connected to the hiring process said, "you've chosen not only Steve Nash over [Pau] Gasol, but maybe over Gasol and Dwight [Howard]."

If the Lakers had hired Jackson, the offense would be running through Gasol, Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant in the post.

L'impressione è che senza Nash, probabilmente non sarebbe mai arrivato MDA.

ma secondo me il concetto non è solo "aver preso un morto"...

ma è anche chiedersi quanto sia vera l'affermazione di aver preso un morto, o quanto possa esser vera la seguente affermazione
"si è preso un player che sotto la gestione MDA è diventato un morto"...

e ciò non mi riferisco solo a Jamison, anzi, Jamison è solo l'ultimo della lista...






uno due giorni fa ho letto un bellissimo post secondo cui un forumista avrebbe detto 2-3 mesi orsono che...
se avviene questo e quello.....
ci troveremo a dire che:
- Gasol (ex "uno dei migliori lunghi al mondo") è un morto o giu di li
- DH (ex franchise player, miglior centro nba) è un player disfunzionale
- Kobe è un exgiocatore
ecc.....
(ovviamente ho enfatizzato le affermazioni)
