Assenze pesanti hanno limitato i Pats, assenze pesantissime pure tra i Packers.
I Pats e TB hanno lasciato punti per strada.
Ed il fumble di Aaron Jones è arrivato al momento giusto.

Comunque la difesa ha tenuto abbastanza bene Rodgers. Che fisicamente non è al meglio.
Ottimo Patterson, bene Gordon. Bravissimo Edelman nel quarto quarto.

Domenica giocano a Tennessee, poi il bye.

Vista stasera, la difesa effettivamente ha retto. Mi faccio sempre del sangue marcio perché da quando i DL mettono le mani sul'avversario non lo tornato giù se non dopo diverse yard, ma in generale si è mostrata una D molto solida. Flowers si, una potenza. Molto bene anche Gilmore.

In attacco anche gran prestazione, peccato la grande fatica nelle ultime 10 yard.
McDaniels ha un book straordinario.
Edelman è sempre un valore enorme, qualunque cosa gli chiedano di fare.
Gordon mi fa piangere. Giuro, mi commuovo. È fortissimo ed erano anni che TB si meritava un target come lui.

The team cut defensive end Geneo Grissom and offensive lineman Cole Croston to make room for safety Obi Melifonwu and linebacker Albert McClellan. It was reported Monday both Melifonwu and McClellan would be signing.

Grissom is a core special teams player, but so is McClellan who was cut by the Ravens last week. He's been on and off the Patriots active roster and practice squad for the last several years, so it would not be a surprise if he returned at some point.

Croston, a 2017 undrafted rookie, was kept on the active roster all of last season despite minimal playing time. With James Ferentz being added to the active roster last Saturday as depth with Shaq Mason injured, an offensive lineman needed to be let go and it was Croston. Like Grissom, if he goes unclaimed it would not be a surprise to see him return.

In addition, offensive lineman Brian Schwenke has been placed on injured reserve and Kenneth Farrow has been released from the practice squad. This means the team now has one open spot on the practice squad and active roster.

The Patriots officially signed Matt Tobin to the active roster, which was reported earlier in the day, and then they also signed running back Josh Ferguson to the practice squad.

Tobin is a versatile offensive lineman who spent time with the Patriots this summer before catching on with the 49ers, but then was released after just a few weeks.

Meanwhile, Ferguson entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with the Colts 2016. He made the 53-man roster out of training camp and played in all 16 games, finishing with 15 carries for 20 yards and 20 receptions for 136 yards. He was on and off the active roster in 2017 and then was released by the Colts on Sept. 18 of this year. Most recently, he spent a week on the Texans practice squad and reportedly worked out for the Patriots Tuesday.

The Patriots suited up in full pads for Thursday’s practice, and for the first time since September, running back Rex Burkhead joined them.After suffering a neck injury against Detroit in Week 3, Burkhead went on injured reserve. 
Rookie cornerback Duke Dawson was the first player "designated to return" this season, and with his appearance at today’s session, Burkhead becomes the second.

Of course, just because these two players are practicing now doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be re-activated to the 53-man roster, but it is an encouraging sign. Based on when Dawson came back to practice last month, New England has until next Wednesday (Nov. 14) to activate him. Burkhead, meantime, is eligible to play again beginning with the Vikings game in early December.

However, now that both Dawson and Burkhead are participating in practices again, they are officially the two Patriots designated for return from IR this season. Any other players currently on the list or who might be placed on it from now until season’s end will be done for the year with no opportunity to play again until 2019.

Also of note from today’s session, left tackle Trent Brown was not there again after he was held out on Wednesday due to an illness. His status for Sunday’s game in Tennessee might be in question if he’s unable to take part in practice on Friday. Nine players were limited.

It also appeared that Cole Croston was back on the practice squad. The offensive lineman was back in his number 74 uniform. Meanwhile, defensive back David Jones was not spotted on the field, presumably to make room for Croston on the 10-man practice squad.

Mamma che cesso di partita. Non si salva niente e nessuno, giusto Edelman stava facendo il suo.
Attacco inguardabile e molto sotto gli standard, difesa che già va male di solito, in queste condizioni sprofonda.
Davvero nessuno peggiore degli altri.
Loro hanno una gran difesa, molto molto bravi.

non ho visto la partita ma vedendo il tabellino vedo TB 258y Mariota 228y. Che e' successo nelle ultime 30-40 yard? Difesa che fa un passo indietro e la linea di attacco che subisce 2 sack , questo e' un brutto segnale, certo che  difronte non c'era una difesucola ma una signora difesa. Ora una settimana di riposo che serve come non mai, sperando peschino il jolly nelle trade

Il periodo delle trade è finito da 2 settimane. Resta qualche FA ma poca roba...
Si deve per forza fare da soli.
 

Rilasciato Barner per fare spazio a Dawson, attivato dalla IR.
Dovrebbe prendersi subito parecchi snap da nickel.

Finalmente vedremo se, in quanto DB scelto al secondo giro, sarà un bust come Cyrus Jones, oppure un bust come Richards, oppure un bust come Tavon Wilson, oppure un bust come Ras-I-Dowling

Esatto. Attivato Duke Dawson, rilasciato il RB Kenjon Barner.
Rilasciato anche il LB Nicholas Grigsby.
Resta libero un posto nel roster da 53, ma non c'è fretta di riempirlo in quanto c'è il bye.
Vedremo che cosa faranno.

Discretamente buone le notizie su Edelman, mentre Dwayne Allen salterà alcune partite per un infortunio al ginocchio.
