Just 12 games into the season, the Bruins have already lost 50 man-games to injury.

That number is only going up when Bruce Cassidy’s squad plays host to the visiting Wild tonight at TD Garden, too, and with a fresh face added to the list, as top-line winger Brad Marchand has been ruled out of action with an upper-body injury.

“He’s out,” Cassidy said after a skate at Warrior Ice Arena. “He’s got an upper-body [injury], we’ll have an update a bit later today or tomorrow. But he won’t play.”

Noticeably targeted by the Capitals throughout the night this past Saturday (and at one point smashing his stick on the bench out of frustration after getting taken out by the Caps’ John Carlson without a penalty call made on the hit), Cassidy did note the positives that should come with Marchand being able to finish that game.

But he also refused to speculate on any sort of timeframe for his best left-side threat.

To suggest that the Bruins -- who remain down David Backes, David Krejci, Ryan Spooner, Noel Acciari, Adam McQuaid, Ryan Spooner, Anton Khudobin, and now Brad Marchand -- have exceeded expectations over this span would be to suggest that they should have had any positives expectations with their borderline AHL lineup.

Soprattutto avere 2 Spooner a roster aiuterebbe (forse )

Comunque discreta sfortuna in termini di infortuni.

Bene, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2 e ieri 4-3 che doveva essere 4-2.
La difesa alla riscossa con Anton Khudobin su tutti.

Mi sembra che la season dei Bruins stia andando meglio di quanto previsto ad inizio stagione?! O forse quest’anno la division e la conference sono molto livellato verso il basso?
