Prior to joining the Argos, Mitchell spent three seasons with the Lions, collecting 54 tackles and eight sacks.

Veteran defensive tackle Khalif Mitchell could be heading back to the BC Lions after one season with Toronto, according to reports.
According to TSN's Farhan Lalji the Lions could be interested in bringing the hulking lineman back to Vancouver.

Former Kansas State QB Collin Klein has signed a two-year contract with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes.
Klein, 24, was invited to Texans rookie camp last year, but failed to earn a contract and didn't resurface in an NFL training camp. As CFL contracts are binding, Klein will have to wait two years if he hopes for another NFL shot.

Klein, come tutti i QB USA, dovrà attendere qualche mesetto per "imparare il mestiere".. non sempre i QB "rifiutati" dalla NFL entrano in CFL e fanno veri e propri sfracelli.. con pazienza, imparando da chi conosce meglio il mestiere, possono diventare giocatori importanti..

Il Califfo è tornato a casa!!

Ne avevo sentito parlare un mesetto fa e adesso è ufficiale: dalla prossima stagione la pass interference rientra tra le chiamate contestabili col challenge. E non solo: anche un'azione in cui si ritiene ci sia un'interferenza inizialmente non sanzionata può essere soggetta a challenge ed eventualmente la flag può essere assegnata dopo la review delle zebre.
