With reference to this:
"- ENTRYÂ DRAFTEESÂ EXCEPTION link
..the roles assigned during the off-season will stay the same from September to the end of our playoffs; however, an exception to that rule could be made for entry draftees entering the league:
to allow corrections on possible mistaken roles assigned to players that had yet to be seen play in the league, GMs will have the chance to ask for a change of an entry draftee’s role as long as he will have played no more than 10 regular season games in the NHL.
It is settled that the eventual correction can not lead to the addition of a second position."
GMs will be allowed to submit a request for a change of the rookie's position only once per off-season.
LC will vote on it soon, but if the result won't be unanimous, the decision will be postponed after the player's 10th NHL regular season game.
After that game is played, the LC will deliver its decision as soon as possible.
Once the answer is provided, the role of the player will stay the same for the rest of the season, no matter if the judgement came before the 10th R.S. game.
