Non ho visto il film ma questo estratto di una recensione mi ha divertito parecchio.

A group of former New Orleasn Pelicans players are making donations to the communities in the areas of Southeast Louisiana affected by Hurricane Ida last month, with Jrue and Lauren Holiday leading the charge.

in questa classifica c'è tutta la dimostrazione di quello che accade ogni anno, nessuno escluso, sia tra i tifosi come noi, sia tra gli addetti ai lavori

parlo della eccessiva aspettativa per i rookie

è una questione statistica: tra gli under 25 ci sono gli ultimi 6 draft coinvolti (più un giocatore del 7° draft andando a ritroso)
ebbene dell'ultimo draft (i rookie) occupano le posizioni 4-5-6-19-20-21
6 su 25 è una statistica che potrebbe quasi starci (la media perfetta sarebbe 4 x draft), teoricamente....
teoricamente perchè in realtà, degli altri 19, uno fa parte del draft 2015 (Booker), quindi degli altri 18, ben 6 son stati scelti fuori dalla top 5 o top 10

ciò significa che un terzo dei migliori rookie "sfugge" alle previsioni (top 5-10 del draft)

ora, in questa classifica NON SOLO ci sono una prevalenza numerica dell'ultimo draft
6 su 24 (escludiamo dal conteggio "l'eccezione" del draft 2015) 25% quando gli altri draft si "spartiscono" l'altro 75% dei posti 15% ciascuno in media...
ma in quella che fu la l'aspettativa dei rispettivi draft, quella percentuale scende al 10% (che sarebbe meno della metà della % riservata al draft 2020)

ma addirittura al draft 2021 spettano 3 posti tra i primi 6
su questo non credo ci sia bisogno di commentare...
3 posti tra i primi 6 vengono da un solo draft su 6 annate...

ecco, tutto può essere, ma se cosi sarà, il draft che ci portò LBJ & Co. impallidirebbe e manco di poco

come sempre prima che scendono i campo le aspettative offuscano la "visione" di molti, addetti e non addetti
PS: statisticamente tra i migliori 6 giocatori del draft 2021, ci saranno almeno un paio di giocatosi scelti molto più tardi, sapevatelo
