Certo che prendere 40 rebs in una partita è veramente pazzesco, ma può significare tre cose...o hai un fiuto veramente assurdo per la posizione, o i tuoi compagni tagliano fuori che è una meraviglia...o hai un culo spaventoso...Gia ora quando si arriva a 20 rebs è un'impresa, il doppio è veramente inimmaginabile.
Comunque mi associo alla schiera di chi ti fa i complimenti, è da un pò che seguo la tua rubrica ed è veramente interessante...

NBA Anecdotes:

Dopo che Wilt Chamberlain firmo un ingaggio da $100,000, Russell pretese dai Celtics che il suo fosse portato a $100,001. 1 dollaro in più di Wilt!


Finals 1962, LAL vs BS, Game 7#: Frank Selvy sbagliò il tiro della possibile vittoria, Russell strappò letteralmente il pallone dalle mani di Baylor, mantenendo il punteggio sul 100-100 alla fine dei tempi regolari, partita vinta dai Celtics all'overtime per 110-107. Finita la partita Russell si diresse negli spogliatoi e pianse per l'emozione. Bill fu monumentale; finì la partita con 30 punti e 40 rebounds!!! Nessun altro giocatore è mai riuscito a prendere più di 38 rebounds in un game delle finals!! Oltre a questo record, nella stessa partita Bill segnò anche il record per rebounds in un quarto: 19.

L'anno in cui Bill fece il suo massimo in carriera di punti in una stagione, con 18.9 ppg.. Wilt ne faceva 50 e passa.. ma mentre a Wilt andarono le corone come miglior Rebounder e Scorer.. Bill si accontentò del premio votato dai giocatori.. MVP!
