mah ribadisco: lo prendemmo alla 20 x la 22 e la 91. Ora lo dai per la 32 e la 96 ma gli dai la 118. Un WR che viene da due stagioni oltre le 1K, sotto contrtto da rookie. Io l'avrei tenuto a queste condizioni. Vero che a NO era ormai il WR 2, che non è top in alcune cose ma insomma...
Unica consolazione non averlo tradato x Butler che imho fuori dal sistema NE non sarà granchè.

Sono due valutazioni differenti da fare secondo me.

1: valore assoluto: Il giocatore in sè vale la 20 e più, tipo se fosse in questo draft io con la 14 degli Eagles lo sceglierei ad occhi chiusi
2. valore relativo: giocatore scontento che vuole andare via e si becca con i compagni sui social e soprattutto, fuori dal contratto rookie il prossimo anno.

Si vociferava una seconda scelta in virtù del valore relativo. Vi è arrivata una prima bassissima e una salita di 20 posizioni al 3° giro.
Che è il valore di mercato in questa particolare situazione, purtroppo per i Saints e per fortuna dei Pats.

Io credo che noi abbiamo offerto la #2 più un giocatore che probabilmente non piace al FO.

Forse se aspettavate il giorno del draft potevate ottenere un po' di più...ma anche molto meno.

Potenzialmente è sotto contratto altri due avendo il quinto di opzione come primo giro, giusto?

Sì, il quinto anno però non sarà molto economico.

Scenario interessante...macchiavellico direi. Se fossi i Saints lo farei ASAP

If the NFL will be taking the highest pick that the Patriots hold in round four, why should the Saints send pick No. 118 to the Patriots? The Saints should call any of the teams picking between No. 119 and No. 131 (the Texans hold No. 131) and offer to flip-flop those selections before sending an even lower fourth-round pick to the Patriots.

The Texans could jump 13 spots (or one of the other teams between 119 and 130 could jump to 118), the Saints could pick up a little something in return, and the Patriots would still be getting back the currently-forfeited 132nd pick.

If it’s worth $16 million and a 2017 fourth-round pick to the Browns to get a 2018 second-round pick and a 2017 sixth-rounder, moving up to pick 118 is surely worth something to one of the teams from 119 to 131.

The trade isn’t official yet, so the Saints still have time to make a call or two and slide down a spot or two (or 13) from No. 118. Don’t be surprised if they do.
