Annotiamo l'ennesimo rumors riguardo la posizione di QB a Washington, arriva da John "becchino" Clayton: se Mariota è disponibile alla 5, i Redskins lo prendono. Magari voce che esce solo per spingere qualcuno a fare trade....i Redskins si vorranno vendicare....

Aggiorniamo l'ultimo capitolo: l'opzione per il quinto anno (il 2016) è stata attivata, il che vuol dire che RG3 prenderà 16 milioni quell'anno, ma mi pare di capire che non sia una scelta del tutto vincolante a meno che il giocatore non soffra di un infortunio...

Io sta cosa del "garantito in caso di infortunio" non l'ho mica mai capita che senso abbia...ma tant'è la prendo per buona.

Se RG si rompe di nuovo e si deve ritirare, l'anno prossimo viene pagato in toto. Ma se si rompe quest'anno e Washington lo taglia prima dell'inizio della FA, li prende lo stesso? Deve essere in PUP/IR al momento del taglio?

Comunque mi sa di mossa per provare a prendere due spicci per RG con una trade il prossimo anno. O anche quest'anno

Da Rotoworld: Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he's seen growth in Robert Griffin III under new QBs coach Matt Cavanaugh.
Analysis: Last year that position was filled by Gruden himself. Cavanaugh has been coaching in the league since 1995, winning a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2000. "Bringing all that knowledge and experience, I think it’s helping everybody," said Griffin. The Redskins already picked up Griffin's fifth-year option so 2015 isn't a make or break season, but it's close.

Non che in questo periodo dell'anno ci siano mai delle notizie diverse da questa, però vabbè....crediamoci!!

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III's progress this offseason has head coach Jay Gruden excited. Gruden said Griffin improved during organized team activities, adding that the more comfortable Griffin becomes with the terminology and reads, the more he'll keep improving. Gruden also said that Griffin has taken over as a leader, but that the team and coaching staff still need to be patient with him.
