stasera big match al Cameron,arrivano i Deacons!almeno una contro un big team va vinta,dopo aver perso contro Clemson,unc e gli stessi Deacons..dobbiamo dimostrare di potercela giocare,perlomeno nel torneo ACC..LET'S GO DEVILS!

Finalmente una bella vittoria contro una big...dai tabellini vedo l'ennesima grande prestazione di Henderson, ben spallaggiato da Scheyer..bene così...

Ora si va in quel di Maryland, dove troveremo un ambiente galvanizzato dopo l'impresa contro UNC..speriamo stiano ancora festeggiando..

Zoubek non è infortunato,semplicemente Coach K ha deciso di non farlo giocare..il quintetto messo in campo oggi m'attizza parecchio,vedremo un pò anche se speravo in un salto di qualità di Brian anche perchè così siamo davvero piccoletti.Evidentemente però ormai non è più nei piani di Coach K per quel che concerne la corsa di marzo,credo si andrà avanti con le rotazioni di oggi fino alla fine.A Maryland saranno galvanizzati e soprattutto incazzati visto l'umiliazione che gli abbiamo rifilato al Cameron,ma direi che si può,anzi,si deve,vincere.

un altra W,bene così..io l'ho registrata e mi sto apprestando a guardarla..comunque stando ai tabellini:soliti 19 (anche se tirando piuttosto male,7-18)per Gerald,ottimo il riconfermato Elliott(15 con 6-8 e 6 rimbalzi)e doppia doppia 13+10 per Kyle,peccato per Jon che tira solo con 1-7 da tre ma serve 5 assist.Vasquez dopo aver fatto il gallo contro unc torna sulla terra e chiude con 10+6+5.quintetto di Duke riconfermato con Williams e Thomas dall'inizio..ottima notizia anche la sconfitta di Clemson contro VT..ora siamo secondi in solitaria in ACC.
EDIT:vista la gara devo dire che Gerald non sarà stato nella sua miglior giornata al tiro però..ad un certo punto ha fatto:schiacciata paurosa in mezzo all'area dei Terrapins,stoppata impressionante con tanto di recupero e tiro dalla media,solo rete.il tutto in successione

Ottima vittoria sul campo di Maryland in una partita tiratissima e risolta dai nostri negli ultimi 4 minuti con 2 triple che spaccano l'equilibrio e un ottima difesa...Maryland molto condizionata dai falli...Gerlad ancora grande trascinatore, nel momento peggiore (dopo un blocco assassino su Smith e seguente tripla di Mar) piazza una schiacciata devastante e si carica sulle spalle la squadra (impressionante la grafica col crescendo delle sue medie punti da novembre a febbraio)...sono contento per il ritorno di Zoubek, anche se offensivamente non da molto, la sua presenza nel pittorato però è fondamentale...

Senior Greg Paulus earned CoSIDA Academic All-America recognition for the second straight year on Wednesday.  The New York native boasts a 3.35 GPA at Duke while majoring in political science and pursuing a certificate in markets and management.  The guard is Duke's 10th all-time player to earn Academic All-America recognition and the NCAA-best fifth Blue Devil selection since the 1997-98 season.  One of only two selections this year from a major conference school, Greg joins Shane Battier as the second two-time Academic All-America choice in the Coach K era. 
In order to be nominated for Academic All-America recognition, the student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with a cumulative career GPA of at least 3.3.  All nominees must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing, and honorees are chosen by a CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) panel.
