Come ho detto altrove a me sembra gente che può fare il roster. Magari mi sbaglio.

Io credo che tra una settimana faremo una paccata di trade. O saliamo ancora per prendere ( X ) e poi ( Y ) o diamo via per pick 2022.

Potenzialmente sono firme molto buone, e a prezzo contenuto, per rinforzare la DL e permettere quella rotazione continua che 2 anni fa è stata uno dei nostri "segreti".

Hurst è essenzialmente uno run stuffer, credo prenderà il posto di Thomas nelle rotazioni all'interno della DL, Arden Key era un giocatore di talento al college poi tra infortuni e qualche problema caratteriale si è un po' perso per strada non riuscendo mai ad essere produttivo tra i "grandi"...classica firma low risk high reward...gli verrà chiesto immagino qualche snap di qualità al posto di Bosa e/o l'edge opposto a lui, l'anno scorso zero sack ma un incoraggiante 8% QB hit, speriamo Kocurek riesca a replicare la stessa magia fatta con Hyder.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan, meanwhile, is reportedly dead set on using the third pick on Mac Jones, who NBC Sports' Peter King described as a "coach on the field" QB Shanahan wants. Apparently the Niners' personnel people aren't on board with taking Jones, preferring the explosive dual-threat Lance, who threw 28 touchdowns and rushed for 14 scores in 2019 -- his final college season. Probably it won't matter what the 49ers personnel department thinks if Shanahan and GM John Lynch want Jones.

“I’m told the work is done in Santa Clara. They have wrapped up their draft meetings officially. They’re ready to make this pick, but it’s in the hands of Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. They’re probably not telling anybody. Nobody in that building knows and doesn’t expect to know until Thursday. But the coaches broke down Mac Jones, Justin Fields and Trey Lance this week together in a neutral process. I’m told they’ve kept an open mind with Justin Fields and Trey Lance winning them over. They had a good process, but there’s still a decent amount of buzz league-wide about Mac Jones.”

Più dell'ex Bama, un QB overrated che oltre a non meritare una chiamata in top ten non sarebbe nemmeno da primo round se non ci fosse tutto questo circo mediatico creato ad arte dagli analisti NFL, mi preoccupa (e non poco) la possibile scelta di Lance...altro QB che mi sembra davvero troppo crudo, e con limiti tecnici non so quanto correggibili da volerci investire il futuro della franchigia...che ne pensate ?
