ps. un giudizio sul giocatore: secondo me era un davvero forte. non dico come Gronk, ma certamente di alto livello. 

C'era chi diceva fosse più determinante nel sistema Patriots rispetto a Gronk in quegli anni. Per me esagerato, ma sicuramente era un'arma di livello eccelso.
Io non ho ancora avuto modo di vedere, ma @ride_the_lightning mi diceva di mazzata bella forte.
Del resto non ha avuto una vita facile: molestato da bambino, padre alcoolizzato, madre poco presente, costretto a nascondere il proprio orientamento sessuale, CTE dalle botte prese...
Sia chiaro che non sto difendendo quello che ha fatto o dicendo fosse un santo, però le circostanze non erano delle migliori fin dall'inizio.

Mi manca l'ultima mezz'ora della terza ed ultima parte...veramente un bel prodotto, vengono messe a nudo molte contraddizioni della sua vita e della vita di quelli che gli giravano attorno. Poi non è l'unico ad averle vissute e quindi non è che va preso a mo' di giustificazione, tutt'altro, però quanto meno se ne capisce un po' di più, se interessa.

Grande prodotto, prime 2 puntate che mi hanno in parte angosciato..
Stori assurda, a tratti devastante, non la conoscevo nel dettaglio...

Il giocatore mi faceva impazzire...

Eh si davvero un docu di ottimo livello. Molti aspetti del lato personale non li conoscevo minimamente.

Più versatile di Gronk, anche lui devastante, ma se non ricordo male ha avuto il suo momento migliore quando l'altro era fisicamente a pezzi.
Comunque parliamo di 2000 yard nei primi tre anni e comunque BB l'aveva inchiostrato al volo, prima che scadesse il contratto da rookie.
Mi sono chiesto che attacco avrebbero studiato avendo a disposizione due TE del genere..

Giusto per evitare fraintendimenti, sto ragionando sul giocatore. la tragica vicenda di cui si è reso protagonista è ovviamente ad un livello differente.

Ecco bravo, Joejuan Williams arrestato.

A few days after Patriots defensive back Joejuan Williams was arrested for drug possession in his home state of Tennessee, more details of what happened emerged. 

Williams was pulled over for speeding around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 17 for going 90 mph in a 70 mph zone. Then during a search of his car, the state trooper found acetaminophen hydrocodone prescription pills, valacyclovir hydrocodone pills, a large amount of marijuana, hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes and illegal paraphernalia.

Williams was cited for speeding and also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drugs without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released the next day after posting a $37,500 bond. He is due in court on Feb. 21.​​​​​​​

Williams was the Patriots' second-round pick last season out of Vanderbilt and appeared in four games.

TE al Senior Bowl

Brycen Hopkins, Purdue 6’ 5” 245 lbs
61 rec, 830 yards, 7 touchdowns
CBS projection: 45th overall, 2nd TE
Like many tight ends coming out of college, Hopkins seems ready to make an impact at the NFL level in the passing game but not so much in the rushing attack. Unfortunately, his blocking ability is in question so he is believed to function better outside of the traditional tight end alignment. It will be interesting to see how Hopkins is utilized in formations in the Senior Bowl as he may be moved out into a slot position in order to play to his strengths.

Jared Pinkney, Vanderbilt 6’ 4” 260 lbs
20 rec, 233 yards, 2 touchdows
CBS projection: 63rd overall, 4th TE
Not regarded as a great route runner, Pinkney has shown some great flashes as a blocker. Although known for having good athleticism for a tight end, he wasn’t much of a vertical threat in college. Look to see at which areas of the field Pickney is targeted in Saturday’s game.

Harrison Bryant, Florida Atlantic 6’ 5” 240 lbs
65 rec, 1,004 yards, 7 touchdowns
CBS projection: 137th overall, 8th TE
Regarded by some as more of a wide receiver than a tight end, his abilities as a blocker are highly questionable. It may be more telling to watch Bryant’s success on rushing plays to see how ready he is for the NFL.

Adam Trautman, Dayton 6’ 6” 253 lbs

CBS projection: 152nd overall, 10th TE
​​​​​​​Obviously, coming from an FCS school brings questions of Trautman’s competition he’s faced this season. The Senior Bowl may be a great test on how he stacks up against other future NFL-caliber players. Out of all the tight ends, he may have the best chance in seeing his draft stock rise as he could no longer be labeled a “sleeper pick.”

Per me dopo B&B è stato l'uomo più determinante per gli ultimi due SB vinti, sostituirlo è impossibile, al più possono sperare di trovarne uno bravo.
