The former girlfriend of 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster on Monday said she can prove Foster did not cause her injuries from an alleged February incident in Los Gatos.

Elissa Ennis, the former girlfriend, released a statement through her attorney, Stephanie Rickard, in which she said her injuries came from a fight that did not involve Foster.

“(Foster) did not strike her, injure her or threaten her,” Rickard said in the statement provided first to NBC Sports Bay Area.

Ennis’ injuries were the result of a physical fight with another woman, and that Foster tried to end his relationship with Ennis after he learned of the fight, Rickard said.

There is a video of that fight with another woman, according to Rickard.

“She was extremely upset and told him if he broke up with her she would ‘trash his career,’ ” Rickard said.

Rickard said after Ennis realized what she had done, she went back to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office and tried to recant her previous statement.

Per questo si era avuto notizia che avesse assunto un avvocato.
Boh....non so se sia vero o se sta ritrattando per convenienza, di sicuro è una situazione che mi lascia poco tranquillo per il futuro e io un LB al draft lo prenderei lo stesso, magari al secondo o terzo giro (anche perchè non ho mai avuto molta fiducia in Malcolm Smith).

In attesa di capire che ne sarà di Foster, il n. 49 di Virginia Tech sembrerebbe la scelta più ovvia, se arriva fino alla nona. Ma tanto Lynch andrà su altro, giusto per stupire

Va be hai citato 6 categorie insieme agli OT in quel post.....diciamo che per la legge dei grandi numeri ci dovevi preendere per forza.....

Scelta che mi lascia perplesso, visto cosa abbiamo lasciato agli altri.

anche io sono rimasto così visto anche che nessuno la pronosticava
il giocatore mi sembra forte e un T serve sempre anche vista l'età di Staley, però forse serviva tappare qualche altro buco.

Forse la scelta di CLE su Ward ci ha spiazzato e siamo andato sul best player nella board.

Attenzione che i dubbi che ho letto su McGlinchy sembrano proprio sul fatto che in NFL viene visto più come RT che come LT (posto che è ormai assodato che è una distinzione superata), e considerando che Staley vuole giocare ancora per diversi anni per me è più probabile che McGlinchy giocherà a destra.

Ormai, con il nuovo CBA e i tempi ridotti di allenamento, far "crescere" un OL in uscita dal college è diventato sempre più difficile e con maggiori incognite, quindi prenderne uno che è "buono" diventa di vitale importanza nell'NFL moderna: McGlinchy sarà uno di questi? Lo spero proprio perchè il ruolo è delicato e in un attacco pass-heavy come quello di Shannahan avere un pass-blocker efficace è ancor più importante del normale (e Brown è sempre stato più forte come run-blocker invece).
Ora prendiamo Landry perchè c'è sempre quel problemino di pass-rush da risolvere...
