Dai che il SOPRAVVALUTATO vi ha lasciato una porticina aperta, facendo due robine da niente stanotte in quel di Devils....

Non direi, poco dopo il suo gol si è consumato il dramma ad Ottawa, con un overtime al cardiopalma con occasioni varie e deciso da un penalty shot di Pageau. Andare a 2 punti dai devils era l'ultimo lumicino di speranza, invece ora 3 lunghezze di distanza e prossimo turno che vede florida in casa di Boston e Devils in casa contro gli Islanders. E' stata una gran seconda parte di stagione ma direi che il discorso playoff si chiuderà dopodomani.

Mi spiace per i Panthers, ma non sono riusciti a beccare i Devils quando erano in delirio di onnipotenza, adesso che hanno avuto uni fisiologico calo la vedo pressoché impossibile.

Ieri McGaud contro McJesus. Terza vittoria nelle ultime quattro, peccato sia finita la stagione, senza Gudbranson ed Eriksson mi iniziavo a divertire.

William Karlsson l'ha fatto brutto. Quasi come quell'altro suo compare svedese.

con le vittorie di stanotte Flyers e Ducks ipotecano un posto per la post-season..

dispiace per Colorado che perde per infortunio Varlamov e Johanson proprio nel momento decisivo della stagione..

Being part of the Canucks family for 18 seasons has been the best period of our lives. But it's time to focus on our families and life after hockey. It's time to help with homework every night. It's time to be at every birthday party and to stand in the cold at every hockey rink, soccer game and riding lesson on weekends. It's time to be at home for dinner every night.

We're saying it now because we want to share these final three games with you. We also want to share these games with our families, friends, teammates, coaches, trainers, staff and everyone at the Canucks who have supported us. You've all been with us every step of the way, and we want to thank you.

It's time to let the next generation of young players lead the Canucks. Travis is building a strong culture and emphasizes a style of play we know will be successful. The team is in great hands, with people who care about its success and it's headed in the right direction. We know there is a bright future for the Canucks.

As we've said before, Vancouver has become home. This is our family's home. We plan to be part of this community long after we retire. Vancouver has given us so much and we've tried to give everything we have in return. That won't change.

In the meantime, we still have some games to play, and we still have some work to do.

tristezza a palate. cominciavo a seguire assiduamente che loro entravano in squadra con la timidezza di chi sa cosa fare e sa che dovrebbe dominare, ma fatica ad adattarsi.. in odore di bust.. diventando poi trascinatore e face of the franchise dal dopo lockout in poi.. sempre, umilmente in silenzio..

I Devils in striscia sorpassano addirittura Philadelphia ad Est.

Taylor Hall ha fatto una stagione incredibile,93 punti con il secondo della squadra distanziato di oltre 40 lunghezze (Hischier a quota 51). Diciamo che Edmonton qualcosa in più da quella trade poteva pure ottenere.

Quest'anno ho seguito abbastanza la stagione nhl anche se non scrivo mai qui perchè non ne capisco abbastanza, volevo chiedervi come giudicate la stagione di Dallas (delusione ?) Vegas (miracolo ?) Rangers (transizione veloce ?)

Dallas era in linea con le aspettative, poi hanno sputtanato tutto nell'ultimo mese.. delusionissima.
Vegas era data, giustamente, in lottery.. direi mezzi miracolati con un gran coach, un hall of famer e tanti buoni giocatori. In più son pieni di pick quindi se cerchi chi tifare.. vai su di loro.
L'idea dei Rangers è un pò quella di fare un rapido retool per giocarsi bene gli ultimi anni del Re. La cosa positiva è che hanno uno dei migliori GM della Lega, sono pieni di pick nel prossimo draft e hanno uno dei migliori goalie della Lega, quella negativa è che forse è un pò poco per essere competitivi nei prossimi due anni.

Dallas ha preso un coach famoso per essere catenacciaro, ma i risultati non si sono visti, soprattutto perchè continuano ad avere problemi di portieri. Ruolo fondamentale nell’hockey moderno, anche in questa stagione si è visto come un gran G come Fleury abbia fatto tutta la differenza di questo mondo per un expansion team come Vegas, come senza Price Montreal sia passata da essere una contender ad una squadra da lottery e Chicago non sia andata ai PO quando è mancato Crawford, G poco considerato ma con 2 anelli nel palmares.

Vegas come detto sopra molto deve al proprio portiere ed ad un allenatore che ha saputo creare un signor allenatore che è riuscito a creare un sistema difensivo molto buono con degli interpreti rivedibili ( i D di Vegas mi fanno rabbrividire leggendoli singolarmente), poi se un C da terza linea come Karlsson gli entra qualsiasi cosa come quest’anno allora si può veramente sperare

Capitolo Rangers: come detto dal GM in una lettera ufficiale vogliono creare una contender per i prossimi anni, ma questo non seguiva il prime della maggior parte delle loro stelle (o presunte tali) che quindi si è deciso di tradare per ricavare pick e prospetti...

L’unico veterano che ha ammesso pubblicamente di non voler essere scambiato per cercare di vincere un anello è stato King Lundqvist che ha espresso chiaramente la volontà di finire la carriera come un Ranger
Si è deciso di cedere il capitano McDonaugh perchè in estate si è firmato Shatthenkirk e in casa si ha già il sostituto in Brady Skiej, giocatore che mi fa letteralmente impazzire per la potenza della pattinata.
TJ Miller doveva essere rifirmato questa estate e avrebbe chiesto un ingaggio troppo alto rispetto al suo valore, contratto che rischia di appiopargli qualche GM sprovveduto (non credo sia il caso di Yzerman) visto che le sue stats hanno subito un balzo in avanti essendo finito in linea con Stamkos e Kucherov..al posto suo sono arrivati Namestnikov e Spooner che saranno anche loro RFA questa estate, ma che chiederanno cifre molto più contenute di JT.

Uno dei rinnovi più cruciali sarà quello di Hayes, giocatore che dovrebbe finalmente esplodere come 2C vista l’assenza dell’ingombrante figura di Miller.

Se si muove bene il GM Gordon in questa estate tra rinnovi e draft credo che la squadra possa ricominciare a vedere i PO non prima di due stagioni, almeno da protagonista..ma il futuro mi sembra comunque buono..anche se sono dell’idea che bisogna cambiare HC.. uno che sposta Buchnevich (al suo secondo anno e nella top3 come punti dell’intera squadra) dalla prima linea con Zib e Kreider a giocare in quarta con quel paracarro di McLeod a piacimento non è l’uomo giusto per tirare su una squadra di giovani..

Offseason importantissima in quel di Broadway

dallas é una squadra costruita male che riesce a giocare per la wild card quando squadre piu forti faticano.

vegas punta chiaramente sul potere della città dove ce facile accesso a droga e mignotte tutta la notte(semi cit) e incontra squadre stordite, non ce altra spiegazione

rangers faticheranno ancora. il rebuild on the fly é piu complicato in NHL di quanto lo sia in altre leghe americane, viene in mente la NFL dove puoi rifondare anche ogni anno. ci vuole troppo tempo per sviluppare talenti e se a un draft ci sono 2-3 giocatori pronti subito per la NHL é grasso che cola.
