IR/LTIR New Policy
Starting with week #10, we are changing a bit the way we manage IR and LTIR.
From now onward, the site of reference will be this one:
http://www.rotoworld.com/teams/injuries/nhl/all/
Like before, for players to be LTIR eligible their expected 'Return' will have to be listed as "indefinitely" or with a date at least 30 days away, where the following applies:
- "early", "early/mid", name of the month = 7th day of the month
- "mid", "mid/late" = 16th day of the month
- "late" = 30th day of the month
Additionally, players listed as "week to week" whose status is "inactive" are also eligible for LTIR.
For other "week to week" status and "day to day" Returns, LTIR is only available if the informations under "i" don't leave any doubts the player will remain out for at least a month.
Unlike before, any player listed on that page will be eligible for simple IR.
The player will be blocked in IR for 7 days even if he comes back earlier than that and once he is back playing his team should not be allowed to make moves before removing such player from IR.
On ice suspensions do not make players eligible for IR/LTIR.
Off ice suspensions make the players eligible for IR.
Off ice suspensions with Return listed as "indefinite" make the players eligible for LTIR.
Here is the renewed complete IR policy:
